In the fall of 2012 I was approached by Robin Inscoe, the sports editor of The Brampton Guardian, who asked me to write a history of the Brampton Battalion, which had recently announced its intention to relocate to North Bay following the 2012-13 season, its 15th in the Ontario Hockey League.
